not a professional auto painter, but it did look like you were laying the first coat a little too heavy. I was expecting to still see imperfections after the first coat was done, but those imperfection were disappearing under the first coat.

I'm not a welder, far from it, but I'm wondering if you weren't blowing thru that exhaust pipe it might not get good penetration with heavier gauge? Interesting though as I have some welds to touch up on my dock, and damn if this wouldn't be convenient. Cheers. PS Chy-na.

i think if you used more reducer or thinner on the last coat, you could have reduced the orange peel even more. But for what it is i think it came out very good. If you want it to be even better just wet rub and polish.

Water, little dawn, 3000 grit sandpaper will take out that bird etching. They polish and buff to a shine.

TEMU is a mixed bag. I’ve mostly been happy but there’s been a few duds.

You could try and fix those bird spots with a little heat from a heat gun, definitely can’t hurt. 😅

Hey Marco, what clear did you use? I love the PPG 2021 or Nason 496-00 if you’re looking for quick dry and nice gloss hold out for decent money. But the PPG 2021 is incredibly durable. Good luck with the paint correction 👍

Weld flash will send you to the ER about 8 hours after looking at that pretty light. After fighting with a dewalt impact for years I broke down and bought a Milwaukee fuel impact it's a fucking beast but yeah 5x the temu price. Welds look pretty good to me bro

Interesting video Marco, I often wondered what those hand held stick welders were like as I thought they were a bit gimmicky but seeing this has changed my mind even though you got a duff one but that can happen. It must be 30 years since I've done any stick (ark) welding I did have some training in it but I prefer mig these days🙏👍John UK

Put anti-seize on the welds to prevent corrosion.

Automotive service technician here, going on 20+ years. The only proper way to remedy this complaint is to replace the headlight housing assembly. Anything short of replacement is simply putting a spit shine on a puddle of mud. Depending on the depth of the scratches, some can technically be sanded and buffed out. But most can't, and you definitely aren't getting a mirror finish by hand, especially in the time it would take to replace it (time is money.) The yellowing is internal lime scale from moisture intrusion caused by a failed lense seal. Even if you can "clear" it up; it's just going to come back after the next time it rains. No, it is not cost effective to try replacing the seal. You will crack or warp the lense. Just do it right people.

Most of the stuff I've gotten from temu has been decent, just got to manage expectations. I did however buy a shirt and when it came in, it was made from that same type of fabric as the cheap Walmart made in China children's halloween costumes🤣

I got a cheap cordless impact from temu. Its no Milwaukee, but it gets the job done, so far anyways. The price was so cheap I couldn't pass it up. It was super nice when I had to remove the 403,962 plastic nuts that hold on the under paneling on my car to get access to my fuel tank and stuff. It was actually just 16 but still.

Most of the aftermarket headlights are not D.O.T. legal, especially the real bright ones. Even if there's a spot on the box that says DOT. If there's no periods between the letters, it's just a short word.
